Handwoven Cushion Cover in Stripe | Tensira

These timeless pure cotton cushions are entirely hand crafted in the Tensira workshop. They are hand-spun, hand-woven and hand-dyed using a traditional loom. The finish achieved through their traditional and unique methods is impossible to achieve with the use of machines and mass production. Tensira's cushions compliment each other beautifully and work seamlessly in combination with the Oski + Lottie unique cushion collection.

Husband and wife team, Hamidou and Tuulia, founded Tensira in 2010.  Their ethical and sustainable brand harmoniously blends Hamidou's West African heritage with Tuulia's Finnish origin. TENSIRA is a unique expression of centuries-old Guinean know-how of weaving and dying techniques and Nordic design.

Materials: 100% hand-spun, hand-woven and hand-dyed cotton | Humane feather insert.

Measurements: 30 x 50cm, 40 x 46cm, 60 x 60cm, 50 x 70cm 

Origin: Handmade in Guinea, West Africa.

Care: Gentle machine wash at 40° \ Line dry.

Note: Small textural irregularities and variations in colour are characteristic of the artisanal techniques used to create this product. These are not considered faults and part of the charm of an entirely handmade product.
