Androgyne Side Table Table Top Ø65 | Audo CPH

Perfectly proportioned with an intriguing combination of masculine and feminine elements, the Androgyne Side Table is a lesson in contrasts. The round table top overhangs the corresponding base in a meeting of straight and curved lines, creating an overall sense of balance. Both base and top are sold separately, the former available in stainless steel or ivory or black powder-coated steel, the latter in five unique marble varieties for total customisation.

Please note that Androgyne Side Table Tops in marble are not treated with a sealant and, as each piece is made from natural material, the surface may vary from what is shown in the images.

Designer: Danielle Siggerud is a Norwegian architect based in Copenhagen. She holds a Masters degree in architecture from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Denmark. She established her studio in 2016 and today the practice works internationally, with projects stretching from London, New York, Stockholm to Paris. The scope of projects varies from private renovations, restorations and contemporary buildings to interior design, furniture making and smaller objects. Her work embodies a sharp vision of space and materials that can be recognized by her sensitive and contextual approach: embracing the essence of built forms, from the roughest construction to the smallest interior details. At the core of her work lies the strive for simplicity achieved by carefully balancing the fundamentals of architecture: space, proportion, light and materials. “These qualities are sought not simply as things of value in themselves, but as means to support a quality of human experience” she says.
